Nancy Ann Heflin

Mrs. Heflin was born February 24, 1936 in LaGrange, GA, daughter of the late Rufus Dallas Hunt and Sarah Edna Caldwell Hunt. She was a founding member of Lakeview Baptist Church and retired from the Milliken Design Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, David Dallas Heflin.

Mrs. Heflin is survived by her husband of 60 years, James Guy “Sam” Heflin, Sr.; son, Guy (Tammy) Heflin of Arab, AL; daughter, Sharon (James) Woodruff of LaGrange, GA; five grandchildren, Sam Heflin of Tampa, FL, Jake Heflin of Huntsville, AL, Matthew (Linda) Woodruff of Durham, NC, Lindsey Woodruff and Adam (Mekella) Cooley of LaGrange, GA; five great grandchildren; and extended family.

The Visitation will be Saturday, July 10, 2021 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm prior to the service. The Funeral Service will follow at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Rev. Lamar Truitt and Rev. Don Ellison officiating. Burial will follow in Meadoway Gardens.

Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in memory of Nancy Ann Heflin.
