Charles Hubert Thornton

Charles was born May 15, 1957 in LaGrange, GA, son of the late Quillen Thornton and Ruth Faye Hogan Thornton. He was a truck driver for Walmart Distribution and was an avid outdoorsman. Charles enjoyed spending time on his land, watching and feeding the birds. He loved motorcycles and riding his Harley Heritage Softail. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Carl Norton.

Survivors include his son, Nicholas Charles Thornton and his wife Cindy; daughter, Michelle Hope Thornton and her fiancé Jake Gregory; grandchildren, Audrey Harrison, MacKenzie Thornton, Jacob Gregory, Landen Tab Harrison, Brent Gregory, and Allie Harrison; he was formerly married to Faye Mulkey, the mother of his children; brother, Glen Thornton; sister-in-law, Ann Norton; several other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends in the Striffler-Hamby Chapel on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm.
