To know Betty was to love her. She was one of the kindest, most genuine souls you will ever meet. She loved life and everyone in it. Betty truly lived life to the fullest and enjoyed every moment. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of LaGrange, the Mary Well Thompson Sunday school class and the Azalea Story Telling committee. She wrote and directed “The Follies” a church play and helped serve First Methodist Church’s Soup Kitchen and Meals on Wheels. She loved hosting “Porch Parties”, loved traveling, loved every animal she came into contact with and going to the “Home Place” to relax and swim. She was always willing to help in any way she could.
