Lynette Ann (Hall) Sable, born June 20th, 1953, passed away on February 7th, 2023, due to complications from a heart attack and subsequent bypass surgery, with her loving family at her bedside. She was 69 years old. Lynette – or Lyn, as family and friends knew her - was married to Dennis Sable for 41 years and was the proud mother of Paul and his wife Suzette and stepmother to Mandalyn. She was a grandmother to Aurora, Kaiden, and Kaitlyn, as well as a great-grandmother to Jaxson and Juliette. Lyn loved all her children and was a compassionate spirit whose passion was caring for others.
Lyn was a lifelong violinist and teacher, an avid reader and seeker of knowledge, and an English/Spanish translator and copy editor. She specifically loved playing her violin at Catholic Mass and with “Headfirst, The Folk N Rock Band.” She also dabbled with the mandolin, the ukulele, and even the keyboard, a rare musical talent.
While Lyn’s family grieves her loss, they choose to remember Lyn in a way that honors her spirit. Her husband Dennis and son Paul invite the community to join them in a Celebration of Life Ceremony. It will occur at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in La Mesa, CA, on Friday, March 17th, at 11 am. In place of gifts or flowers, please pray for peace and harmony in our world, and live her example of LOVE FOR ALL. May she be remembered forever.
