Beverly Turner Elliott, of El Cajon California, passed away Monday, July 18, 2022 at the age of 95. She was born January 19, 1927 in Silver City, New Mexico and lived there with her parents Mildred R. and Joseph Turner, and a brother Thomas, on a dairy ranch. After high school, she attended and graduated from the University of Arizona at Tucson. She married John F. Elliott in June of 1948, and the two raised a family at their home in La Mesa, California. Beverly worked for 25 years at San Diego State University. After retirement, she enjoyed travel, calligraphy, sewing, and especially loved the outdoors and gardening. She served as a docent at the Water Conservation Garden at Cuyamaca College in El Cajon, California. She leaves behind a son and daughter in law, Brian and Wendy Elliott of El Cajon, California; a grandson and his wife, Matthew and Monica Elliott of Hemet, California, and their daughter Paige; a granddaughter, Noel Elliott of La Mesa, California; and two great granddaughters- Sadie and Sienna Gonzalez of La Mesa, California. Her Husband, John Elliott and two sons, Kenneth and Steven Elliott preceded her in death. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
No service is scheduled; however, a memorial has been set up to honor her memory at the Water Conservation Garden at Cuyamaca College.
