Rosa L. Vega

The Lord opened his heavenly gates to receive his daughter Rosa Limon Vega on Saturday, September 28, 2019. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt. Her bright smile and generous heart will be greatly missed. She dedicated her life to her family. She was giving, nurturing, and supportive of all her loved ones. Her tender spirit and loving ways will forever be our cherished memories.

Rosa, was the daughter of migrant parents and at a young age she contributed to the hard labor of field work, and in caring for her younger siblings. The Limon family settled in a small homestead in the city of La Feria, of which she was a lifelong resident. She later in life continued to demonstrate her strong work ethic until her retirement.

Rosa will be reunited with her parents Jesus and Ofelia Limon, her sisters Odulia and Guillermina, niece Anastasia, and great niece Victoria Linette in His Holy Kingdom.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband Alfonso Vega, her son Alfonso Vega, Jr. (Jamie), her daughter Maria Luisa Trevino (Porfirio), grandson Jose Luis G. Vega, granddaughter Teresa Medina, grandson Landon D. Vega, a soon to be expected grandson, her brother Arturo Limon (Janie), sister Elda Cervantes (Juan), and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

A memorial in celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park in La Feria.
