Manuel was a man of many passions and lived life with a deep love for the outdoors and music. An avid fisherman and hunter, he spent countless hours enjoying nature and sharing those moments with family and friends. His love for life was matched only by his appreciation for Tejano and country music, which brought joy and rhythm to every gathering.
Manuel worked proudly at Foremost Paving for many years, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. But it was his infectious smile, laughter, and talent on the dance floor that truly left an impression on everyone who knew him. He could often be found two-stepping to his favorite tunes or sharing stories over a good meal.
Manuel's spirit will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He is survived by his children Giovanna Mireles (Luis); Manuel Martinez III; Jose Antonio Martinez; and Sofia Anali Perez; his sisters Benny Martinez and Mary Jane Trevino (Leo Mendoza); his grandchildren Abeni Mireles, Matthew Mireles, Roman Mireles, Juliaan Mireles, his aunt Linda Padron, his uncles John Padron (Marsha) and Jesse Padron (Locha).
Manuel was preceded in death by his father Sgt. Manuel Martinez and his mother Maria Del Carmen Martinez.
Manuel also leaves behind a niece and four nephews.
Rest in peace, Manuel — may your spirit always dance to the music you loved.
