Luis Alberto Aguirre

Luis Alberto Aguirre, 39, of Harlingen entered to rest July 24, 2020. Luis was an endearing husband to his beautiful wife Ann Torres-Aguirre and a doting father to his four children: Adrien, Matthew, Angelica, and Felicia. Luis adored his family and spent all his time traveling and doing family activities with his children and wife.

Luis was a graduate of Donna High School. He enlisted to U.S. Marnie Corps. after graduating. Luis was deployed after 9/11 and served in Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Luis worked at the UTPA intermural and was President of the Soccer Club. He was the Female Soccer Coach for UTPA intermural. Luis was a Facilities manager for UTPA wellness center. He was employed as Correctional Officer for the State of Texas. Luis graduated from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley inaugural class with a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice. He became a case manager for undocumented children at Southwest Keys and then for Sunny Glen Children’s Home.

He is survived by his devoted wife Ann, four children; Adrien, Matthew, Angelica and Felicia. His parents: Alberto and Antonia Aguirre two brothers Mario and Jose and sister Xochitl. Numerous family members.

Pall bears will be; Alberto Aguirre, Mario Aguirre, Jose Aguirre, Daniel Adame, Julian Rivera, and Homero Rodriguez. Honorary Pall bears; Adrien and Matthew Aguirre.

Visitation will be held Monday August 3, 2020 from 5:00 PM-9:00 PM, rosary at 7:00 PM at Heavenly Grace in La Feria, Tx. Burial services will be August 4, 2020 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church Harlingen, Tx at 10:00 AM an interment will follow at Ashland Memorial Park Cemetery.
