My dearest condolences to the Escamilla family.😔😘 My name is Freddy Paredes. Mr. Escamilla was a truly Great guy. Juan employed me when I found myself ovecoming  a drug addiction an not very reliable however Mr. Escamilla took a chance on me and he and I worked well together oh and Gabriel too. We were carpenting and was a very good teacher and motivator. In fact he was extremely instrumental in my recovery. For that I loved him.
 Although we didn't keep in touch I will never forget him.

Our daily trips to have lunch, shopping at H-E-B, your doctor’s visits and picking up your prescriptions we’ll leave my days with memories of your jokes and promises to take good care of your health. I know that every time Gabriel and I drove you back home you went and did the complete opposite of what we would ask you to do. I respect so much that we were able to continue enjoying our children and grandchildren together.Together we are leaving a legacy to our children of the love that we shared. Our long conversations about your illness will now be in gods hands and the grace of God will bless you forever.

My dear Dad,
     I will miss your physical presence immensely, but I hold with me the beautiful emotional memories and our heart to heart conversations in my heart forever.  I was so fortunate to have you live with me in Austin for 16 years while you worked for Strait Music and helped me raise Brooke, your eldest granddaughter and Amber, your youngest. You were the best grandfather picking them up from school and taking them to Krispy Kreme afterwards before I’d come home from work to make your favorite tacos. You’ve always made it to the girl’s piano recitals, school functions and programs. They felt so loved by you and you made them so happy with your corny jokes. You’ve never broken a promise to any of us. 
We still have the dog that followed Brooke home from school when you picked her up. She chose you to go home with and jumped in your truck. We named her GiGi because we teased you it was short for Grandpa’s Girlfriend. 
Dad, you were talented in so many ways and were the biggest history buff. Thank you for handing down your talents, your wonderful sense of humor and mainly your strength. I am so honored and proud to be your youngest daughter. I will always hold you near and dear to my heart and will always remember your very last words to me...”I love you, Mija”. I love you too, Dad. 
My conscience is at peace knowing you are at peace now in a beautiful place where there’s no pain, no sorrow....so....put in a good word for me, will ya? RIP Dad, aka Grandpa. 

Dad, 

Do you remember that one time you visited me in Dallas after coming from Oklahoma? You told me the funniest joke as we were all walking to the Jeep to go to breakfast at your favorite IHOP. I still have not forgotten it to this day. You said, "When I die, I want to go in my sleep. I don't want to go out screaming & yelling like everyone else in my car." Even though you are gone & my heart aches, this is how i will airways choose to remember you. You were always the jokester. Every time I go down to the valley & pass through Kingsville, my mind goes back to when you would drive me back to school at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. I had to endure so many of your funny jokes, advice, lectures & sayings on the trip up there. They are part of what I will cherish forever. I was blessed & fortunate to have you by my side during my surgeries & other memorable events. The one thing you wanted midst was unity & I thank you & mom for always being together to be here for all of us. My daughter Autumn has your artistic talent & I know that you kept many of her drawings & that you were so proud of her. I am so glad they brought you much happiness. I love you dad & I will miss you but I will hold in my heart every second of happiness with you.

There is no way you can never fully Express the pain of losing a loved one.
There is no way you can make others understand the pain you have endured. All you can do is deal with the things the best you can and hope that those who are close to you, your friends and family, will carry enough to support you through the toughest time in your life, for it is during these dark times in your life that the ones who truly care for you will step up to the mark.
