George Rodriguez

George of Lantana, Florida worked as a Bridge Tender for Palm Beach County for 35 years. He was known for his great sense of humor and always brought joy and laughter to those around him. He had a big sweet tooth, loved watching football and enjoyed grilling for his family and friends. George was a talented musician and he is undoubtedly playing the accordion in heaven with a smile.

On weekends, George loved taking his honey Maria latin dancing with late nights turning into early mornings at IHOP. George and Maria spent 54 beautiful years of marriage together. He is certainly trying to find a way to send his beloved Maria flowers from heaven, as he was dedicated to doing in life. Their love continues eternally.

George is survived by his wife, Maria Rodriguez; Godson, Robert Levrier, Jr; brother Rudy Rodriguez; sisters Lydia, Rosa, and Beatriz; and his in-laws Guadalupe Losoya (brother), Oralia Levrier (sister), and Francisca Mancillas (sister) along with many loving nieces and nephews.

George will be received by his brothers Demasio Rodriguez, Roberto Rodriguez, Luciano Rodriguez, Jose “Pepe” Losoya (in-law); sisters Guadalupe, Aurelia, Francisca, and Ramona as well as his in-laws Arnulfo and Senobia Losoya. His parents Ernesto and Evensislada Rodriguez will certainly greet him with a loving hug at the gates of heaven.

A visitation for George will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at 10:00 AM at St. Francis Xavier with Burial to follow at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park.
