David Amos Jackson, 77, passed away in Harlingen, Texas on December 9, 2024. He was born on November 27, 1947, the son of Floyd and Violet Jackson. His final years were defined by his devotion to his wife, since her aneurysm in 2016. Dave will be forever remembered by his wife of over forty years Sharon, sister Janet Mizner and her husband Bill (son David), son John Jackson and his wife April (children William, Kate, and David), stepdaughter Valerie Foudray and her husband Darrell (children Matt and Liz), Las Vegas, and the fellow soldiers he shared a Budweiser with at American Legions across our Country. Dave was proceeded by his brother Dannie. His family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project (www.woundedwarriorproject.org ).
