Concepcion Rutoskey

Concepcion was a creative spirit. During her time in the nursing home she expressed her creativity by doing abstract paintings, working on crafts or floral arrangements. Another passion of hers was spending time with flowers and landscaping. She will always be remembered as one to give a lot of love to everyone in her family.

Concepcion is survived by her children Ruben Diaz (Maria+); Maria Guadalupe Cano; Manuel Humberto "Tito" Diaz (Laura); Maria Elva Garcia (Juan); and Roberto Diaz (Rosie); her brothers Mauro (Elia), Jose Guadalupe (Marisela), Ramiro (Teodora+) and Oscar (Herminia); her grandchildren John Paul, Elizabeth (Oscar), Debbie (Tony), Michelle (Alberto), Ruben (Anna), Richard (Martha), Alyssa (Jeremiah), Angelica (Carlos), James (Sandra), Veronica, Ricardo (Alexis), Vanessa, Derrick (Kathleen), Edward (Patty), Dalinda (David), Michael (Holley), Sarah (Shawn), Casey (Amy); her great-grandchildren Jordan, Josiah, Olivia, Elyssa (James), Haley, Sophia, Jason, Savian, Kaydence, Jace, Ethan, Ruben, Stephanie, Jacob, Anyssa, Kylie, Bradley, Iliana, Alberto Ruben "AR", Mateo, Sylvia, Sara, Bella, Raven, Valentin, Jacob, Claire, Kayla, Everett, Natallie, Demi, Delia, Diana, Arturo, Andreas, Arthur, Dawson, Calysta, Hannah, Madelyn, Timothy, DJ (Abby), Abi (Michael) and Aidan; her great-great grandchildren Rosalie, Elliott, Willow and Liam; and her future great-great grandchild Samuel,

Concepcion was preceded in death by her parents Mauro Cano and Maria De Jesus Guzman; her brothers Gilberto, Gonzalo, and Jacinto.

Concepcion also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.

A visitation for Concepcion will be held Friday, March 31, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559. A Funeral Mass will occur Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, 1108 W Hackberry Ave., McAllen, Texas 78501, followed by a burial at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park.
