Abel Rios

Abel was known for his love of the outdoors, particularly his passion for fishing, which brought him great joy throughout his life. He was also a talented musician, playing both the drums and bass in his family's conjunto, where his rhythm and spirit brought music to the hearts of many. Abel’s warm smile, infectious laughter, and deep commitment to family and community will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Abel is survived by his siblings Esequiel Rios Jr., Guadalupe Rios, Elizabeth Atkinson, Genoveva Cortez and Anna Wilt.

Abel was preceded in death by his father Esequiel Rios Sr. and his mother Carolina Rios; his brother Armando Rios and his sister Olga Lopez; his nephew Marco Antonio Lopez.

A memorial service for Abel will be held Friday, December 27, 2024 at 10:00 AM at La Trinidad Assembly of God Church, 500 Harrolds St, Rio Hondo, Texas 78583.
