Lucille "Lolly" Kapihe (Kapihe) Guting

Lucille “Lolly” Kapihe Guting , of Kekaha Kauai, passed away on September 30, 2024. Lucille was born on August 10, 1935 to Joseph Ho’ola Kapihe and Diana Lee Kapihe in the Territory of Honolulu. Lucille has strong ties to the Big Island as her and her husband Claudio Guting moved to Pepe’ekeo on the Big Island where she owned successful businesses before going to Kekaha, Kauai upon losing her husband in the mid 80’s. She enjoyed all things Hawaiian, loved Cecilio and Kapono, her times with her Soul Sister, Arlene, and of course spoiling her ohana. Upon her retirement in Kauai she loved to volunteer and sell her wares at craft fairs. She is survived by her 7 children, Cecelia Bellamy, Anita Schram, Lissa Laybourn, Kathleen Shupe, Tina Abreu, Benjamin Guting, and Claudio Guting Jr; 11 Grandchildren; 12 Great Grandchildren’ and 3 Great Great Grandchildren spanning across the USA.
