Salina Gale Rose

Salina Gale Rose, 44, of Kokomo, passed away at 1:38 PM, Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at her residence. She was born on November 3, 1972 in Kokomo to Louise (Rose) Johns, and she survives. Salina graduated from Kokomo High School and attended Ivy Tech Community College. She worked for Big R Stores for many years. Most recently, she worked for Dr. Heathers as a Medical Assistant. Salina enjoyed spending time with her son, Justice and family. She also enjoyed cooking meals for her son and family. She was an excellent cook and very artistic. Salina is survived by son, Justice Allen Rose; mother, Louise Johns; sister, Amanda Logan; niece, Ashley Nelson; two nephews, Jimmy and Aaron Nelson; two aunts, Phyllis (Mike) Lamb and Debbie (Bob) Davis; and cousins, Jamie (Jon) Lamb-Kadlec, Chris Smith, and his children, Addison and Brayden Smith. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dillard and Pauline Rose. The Celebration of Life will be held for Salina at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, 2324 North Ohio Street, Kokomo, Indiana 46901 with Brother Robert Morphew officiating.
