Disabled at birth, John faced many challenges in life, but he never let that dishearten him. He was the most loving, kind, giving, and caring person you could meet. He inspired and was loved by everyone he crossed paths with, and made everyone very proud of him. John worked many years at Bona Vista and was a member of First Christian Church. John loved garage sales, western movies, Mike’s Pizza, all types of hats, and parties of any kind. He loved a good laugh.
He is survived by his sister, Jennifer L. (Gregg) LaBerge, Denver, Colorado; brother, Dr. Glen A. (Cynthia) Brunk, Carmel, Indiana; three nephews, Stafford Brunk, Griffin Brunk, and Galen Brunk; and one niece, Aleena Brunk.
A special thanks to all his caretakers for the good care they provided to John. A special mention to Tona Fouch, who, beyond caring for John, became like family to him.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
