Gail Truax

She graduated from Haworth High School in 1970. She later earned her Masters degree from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Gail worked for General Motors as a certified professional secretary and purchasing coordinator. She wrote and self-published 6 wonderful children's books. Her hobbies included writing, mentoring, creating art, traveling globally, and spending time with her family.

Gail was a mother of 4, and grandmother of 9. She is survived by her husband, Richard "Dick" Truax; sisters, Margaret Crabtree and Wilma Gibson; children, Kari (Dennis Bogan) Morrigan, Jason (Kari) Truax, Matthew (Heather) Lawson, Shivonne Truax, and Chad Hughes; as well as her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A gathering of friends & family for Gail will be held Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Ellers Mortuary & Cremation Center, 3400 S. Webster Street, Kokomo, followed by a memorial service at 6:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the charity of your choice. Envelopes will be provided at the mortuary.
