She was preceded in death by her parents: Glen and Edna Stapleton; brothers Michael and Douglas Stapleton; husband Robert Shore, daughter Terry Lynn Shore-Beins, and precious pal Copernicus.
She is survived by siblings Shirley Brown, Kenneth (Valerie) Stapleton, Jerry (Terri) Stapleton, granddaughter Brooke (Corey) Hobscheidt and great grandsons – Carson, Crew, Clay, and Cohen Hobscheidt.
Esther met her beloved husband of 56 years in the Snack Bar in Anderson when she was 17 where she worked as a waitress. She married Robert on Feb 3, 1959, in the courthouse in Nashville, TN. Esther and Robert had their beautiful daughter, Terry Lynn Shore-Beins, on December 14, 1959. Esther loved to spend time at church and with family and friends. Robert and Esther enjoyed traveling, scuba diving, and loving their furry family members.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 19th, at 11 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 1967 W Blvd, Kokomo with a meal to follow. Memorial gifts may be made to Calvary Baptist Church.
