Barbara Louise Sokolowski

Barbara Louise Sokolowski, 70, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on November 6, 2021. She was born on February 2, 1951 in Olympia, WA the daughter of Keyser "Tex" Matthew and Shirley Ann Boruff (Fisher). Barbara graduated from Kokomo High School in 1969. She worked for Delphi Electronics for 36 years and retired in 2005. Barbie was a devoted mother, grandmother, and wife. She loved spending time on the lake with her husband. Barbara loved all things to do with sewing, baking, and genealogy. She loved going shopping at antique shops. She also loved getting margaritas on occasion with her closest friends. Surviving relatives include husband, Henry Stubbs of Kokomo, IN; son and daughter, Martin Matthew Sokolowski of California; Laura Ann Cohee (Jeremy) of Kokomo, IN; three grandchildren, Aaron Cohee; Lilyann Cohee; Evan Cohee; brothers, Steven Boruff (Marcia); David Boruff (Tina); Randy Boruff (Tammy); Bret Boruff (Deb), Greg Boruff (Amy) and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-mother Dana Boruff; brothers and sister David, Barth, and Susan. A Celebration of Barbara's Life will be 2:00 PM Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home 2097 West Alto Road, Kokomo, IN.
