Zane Alexander McHugh

McHugh, Zane Alexander, age 35, of Knoxville, TN went to be with Jesus Saturday, June 19, 2021 after fighting a courageous battle with Leukemia. He was an active member of Fellowship Church where he served for many years. Zane had a passion for the Middle School Ministry where he influenced many young lives. He worked at Tennessee Associated Electric for many years and his coworkers became like family. Another passion was watching his son, Jackson, play baseball and a sweet bond was created with all of the players and their families. His daughter, Addison, loves to bake and Daddy loved trying her tasty treats. His High School sweetheart and the love of his life, Carleen, will continue to carry on his legacy. They have lots of plans to celebrate his life by continuing to live life to the fullest just as he did each day.

Zane was preceded in death by beloved grandparents, Zane and Wanda Rucker "Papaw and Mimi" and Jack and Barbara McHugh; grandparents by love, Sam and Fran Beaty. He is survived by his loving wife, Carleen McHugh; daughter, Addison McHugh; son, Jackson McHugh; devoted mother and father by love, Tina and Randy Beaty; father and wife, Ed and Judy McHugh; siblings by love, Blair (Matt) Kerr, Jason Beaty and Valire Goforth; special aunt and uncle, Becky and Lew Gholston. Aunts and uncles, Tom (Lynn) McHugh, Jeff McHugh, Julia (Guy) Glisson, Russell (Chrissi Rhea) Beaty, Sammye (David) Lewis; numerous nieces, nephews and additional family and close friends.

Celebration of Life will be Tuesday, June 22nd at 6:30pm at Fellowship Church Knoxville, 8000 Middlebrook Pike, Knoxville, TN 37909 with reception to follow. Pastors, Zach Hume and Rick Dunn to officiate. A private graveside service will take place at Lynnhurst Cemetery.
