Willie Dean Kirby

Willie Dean Kirby, age 83, of Knoxville, Tennessee went to be with the Lord Monday August 8, 2022. She was a member of North Lonsdale Church of God. Willie held church services in her home since her husband was not able to attend church, she was totally devoted to his care for 25 years She loved spending time with her family at the beach, loved sitting on her screened in porch swinging but most of all she loved the Lord. Willie was a true friend to all who knew her and crossed her path. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Elliott Kirby Sr; parents, Creed and Beatrice Ingle; sisters, Elizabeth Johnson and Delores Hensley; brother, Eddie Ingle; several nieces and nephews also preceded in death. Willie is survived by daughters, Penny (Gene) Perry, Carla (Mark) Cruze and Sherry (David) Williamson; son, Wayne Elliott Kirby Jr; 2 step-sons, Chuckie and Stevie Kirby; 8 grandchildren, Devin and Derik Cruze, Alexis and Trey Kirby, Brooke Perry, Jordan and DJ Williamson and Keelan Dillon; 3 great-grandchildren, Mayson Williamson, Malakai Kirby and Adabella Wolfenbarger; special cousin, Debbie Johnson that has been by Willie's side from day 1. The family will receive friends Wednesday August 10, 2022 from 5-7 p.m. at Berry Funeral Home 3704 Chapman Hwy. Service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Charlie Reynolds officiating. Family and friends will meet Thursday August 11, 2022 and leave in procession to New Grey Cemetery for a 2:00 p.m. Interment. Terry King, Devin and Derik Cruze, Trey Kirby, DJ Williamson and Keelan Dillon will serve as pallbearers. The family would like to give a special thank you Covenant Hospice nurse Cindy.
