Riffey, William George “Bill” age 80 of Knoxville, passed away at his home September 20, 2011. He was a very proud Veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean War, and retired from TVA.
Preceded in death by his parents William and Pearl Riffey, wife Betty Riffey, 2 brothers and a sister.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Lorene and Eddie Sharp, son Sonny Riffey, several grandchildren, great-grand children, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 in the Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel. Family and friends will meet Friday at 10:45 am in the Lynnhurst Cemetery for an 11 am interment service with Military Honors provided by the Tennessee Army National Guard.
