William David (Booder) Chandler

William David (Booder) Chandler, It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, and husband, who passed away on June 18th, 2023 at the age of 85. He was born in Knoxville on August 10th, 1937 to his parents Marshall and Maxine Chandler. He grew up in Knoxville and attended Rule high school, and went on to have a 30 plus year career at Beverage Control excelling to the top of his profession. He was a hardworking man who dedicated his life to taking care of, and providing for his family.

He loved spending time, and traveling with his family, working in the yard, and a good game of croquet on a summer afternoon. His friends and family will always remember him for his fun nature, and quick sense of humor. His passing will leave a void in the lives of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 62 years, Carol; his sons, Jeff (Susan), Mike (Michelle), and Jason (Winifred) ; brother Eddie (Linda); and grandchildren, Michael (Leah), Marcie, and Daniel, 4 great-grandchildren; as well as many friends and colleagues. A funeral service will be held in honor of Booder’s life on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at 2:30 pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Drive, Knoxville, TN 37918. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Remote area medical charity in his memory.
