     Sonny Moore was my great grandad. I never really got to meet him or see him that much. I don't really remember that much about him, but I know that he was a very good man that loved the lord. He used to work at Pepsi and when I would visit Nanny's house, she would have all of his pepsi stuff on the walls. My grandma never talked about him much, but when she did she always talked about how he was a great guy and had a sense of humor. I have one thing from him that my grandma (his daughter) gave to me. It's a Tennessee stuffed animal with a racoon hat. I keep it by my bed all the time. I never really met him, but I still love him just the same.

I will miss Sonny because he was a big influence on my life. He was a mentor,friend,and a leader. I would of never guessed the man that trained me on how to fix everything would someday be in front of me as someone I had to help get better.I loved him as a friend and was happy to help you though the hard days of him fighting heart disease.He went down fighting the whole way. I know you, I, and the family only remember the good times and there was plenty of those. God bless you and your family.

Pat and Family,
  I worked for and with Sonny for many years at Pepsi. He was my mentor and I always looked up to him. After leaving the company due to failing health we would always check on one another. Several times a week and would often end up talking for an hour on the phone. Because that's what true friends
do they stick together no matter what.
I've always heard that you can count your true friends on one hand. Sonny was a true friend to me! I will miss him terribly but will never forget my true friend! You are all in my thoughts
and prayers!

Rocky and family, we were so sorry to hear about your dad's passing.  We're also sorry we missed the receiving friends but we didn't know until Tuesday or we would have been there.  Thoughts and prayers go out to your family at this time.

To the Precious family of Mr. Moore, I just want you all to know how very sorry I was to hear of Mr. Moore's passing. I enjoyed taking care of Mr. Moore at Ft. Sanders and was his nurse for many shifts. He was a sweet and considerate man and I always told him he was my favorite patient. He was a blessing and I was so honored when he made a point to call me to his room to meet his pastor. I know the angels are rejoicing in heaven and he will be missed. all of you are in our prayers.

It was my pleasure to have Sonny as my boss for many years and to have able to later operate on him several times.He put up with alot after his heart disease started and fought the battle to the end. I will miss his guidance and friendship everyday. He was a man of great humor and was willing to help anyone in need.
