Sylvia Irene Gibson

Sylvia Irene Gibson, age 81, of Knoxville, Tennessee went to be with our Lord on Sunday, July 17, 2022. She was a member of South Knoxville Church of God for 45 plus years. Sylvia was a loving wife, mother, granny, and great-granny. She enjoyed spending her time crafting, working on her flower gardens, spending time with family, and reading her Bible. Sylvia is preceded in death by her husband Harold Wayne Gibson; and parents Columbus and Alberta Hall. She is survived by her children Ronald D. (Linda) Gibson and Tammy (Stephen) Biering; grandchildren Olivia (Jeremy) Hill, Stevie (Chris) Keathley, Lindsey Newman, and Preston (Rachel) Biering; 7 great-grandchildren and a loving family and friends. The children would like to thank Doll, Lindsey and Stevie for the special care they took of Momma and Covenant Hospice and Nurses Amanda, Zhonna, and Rita for the wonderful care they provided Sylvia during this time. The family welcomes friends for a Visitation Service on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at South Knoxville Church of God, 5623 Magazine Road, Knoxville, TN 37920, from 5:30pm-7pm with a Funeral Service to follow, officiated by Pastor Jerry Laudermilk and Pastor Robert Branch.
