Susan Darlene Simpson, 66, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018.
Preceded in death by her parents Howard and Elizabeth Bradley Franklin, husband James Simpson, III, brother Roy Franklin, son Gregory Lynn Simpson, daughters Laura Jean Simpson and Michelle Dawn Hurst.
Survivors include grandsons Noah and Jonah Simpson and Bryan Hurst, two great-grandchildren, brother RD Franklin, sister Judith Patrick, special "adopted" son Gary Taylor, life-long friend Becky Pebley, several nieces and nephews.
There will be a Gathering of Friends on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Berry Highland Memorial, 5315 Kingston Pike.
