Shirley V Horton Vaughn

Shirley V. Vaughn, age 80, of South Knoxville, went to be with the Lord and other loved ones on Sunday, February, 28, 2016. She will be loved and missed by all whose lives she touched. Shirley is preceded in death by her father, Marshall Horton; mother, Ruth Stafford; husband, DL Vaughn; son, Charles Davis; four brothers, and one sister. She is survived by her children, Mike Davis; Billie Bass; David and wife Deborah Davis; JR and wife Sharon Davis; Jeff and wife Terina Davis; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Pat and husband Robert Kelley of New Mexico; and Lillian Knight of California; several loving nieces, nephews; great nieces and nephews; and many friends. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 8:00 PM, Rev. Tom King officiating.
