KENNEDY, SARAH IRENE - age 99 of Knoxville, Passed away Monday, September 8, 2014 at Parkwest Hospital. She was preceded in death by husband, Harry; son, Thomas; brother, J.L. Shoemake; sisters, Hallie and Mary Ellen. Survived by son, Roger (Carol) Kennedy; daughters, Ann (James) VanKell and Mary Smith; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 pm Thursday at Weaver Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am Friday at Beech Grove Cemetery for an 11:00 am interment.
