Ruth W. Moore, age 100 of Knoxville, passed away January 15, 2024. She retired from K-25 in Oak Ridge where she was a lab technician. She was a member of the WIBC and USBC bowling leagues. She was an avid bowler, gardener, and Vol fan. Preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth N. Moore; parents, David and Lily Worsham; several brothers and sisters; Survived by children, James C. Moore and Sheila G. Hartsell and husband George; grandchildren, Jerrimi D. Moore, Shealynn M. White (Jacob); great-grandchildren, Bryson White, Isabella White, and Able White; close friends, Pat and Margaret McBee, Patricia Hayes, Mary Hillard and Hallie Harris. Family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-7 pm at Weaver Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet 1:45 pm Wednesday at Oak Ridge Memorial Park for a 2pm graveside service.
