Ruby Mae Underwood

UNDERWOOD, RUBY MAE – age 89 of Knoxville walked into the arms of Jesus, May 12, 2012. Mom was a very loving, caring and giving person. She was loved very much by all and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Preceded in death by husband, Floyd E. Underwood, Sr. parents, Gilford and Effie Miller. She was the last of twelve children. Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Joyce Pack and husband Albert, sons; Floyd E. Underwood, Jr. and wife Elaine, John W. Underwood, Sr. and wife Brenda, daughter; Emma L. Underwood and daughter Frances May and husband Michael , seventeen grandchildren, twenty-five great -grandchildren , seven great- great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. William Burkhart , his office staff and her other doctors for their loving care of our mother. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Weavers with chapel service to follow at 7:00 pm. Rev. Eddie Click officiating. Family and friends will meet 12:45 pm Thursday at Highland Memorial Cemetery for a 1:00 pm interment. Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.
