Rose Hicks

Rosa "Rose" Marie Hicks, age 80, of Knoxville, Tennessee gained her heavenly wings Friday, September 10, 2021. She was a devout Christian who touched many lives through her ministry. Rose was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

She was preceded in death by loving husband, Jim Hicks; parents, Phillip and Mable Cox; loving twin sister, Anna Collins; sisters, Lorraine and Ruby and brother, Adam Cox.

Rose is survived by sons, Jerry and Gary Dunaway, Eddie (Sharon) Shanks, Jeff (Karen) Crum; daughters, Pam Smith and Kristie Walters; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brothers, Bud, Amos, Darrell; sisters, Pat and Shirley, along with many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Monday, September 13, 2021 in the chapel of McCarty Evergreen Funeral Home, 7426 Asheville Hwy, Knoxville between the hours of 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a service to follow. Family and friends will meet Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Mt. Olive Cemetery, 2500 Maryville Pike, Knoxville for an 11:00 AM Interment Service.
