Ronald N. Towe

Ronald N. Towe, age 80, passed away Monday, October 31, 2022 at Sacred Ground Hospice House. He was of the Baptist faith. Ronnie was a 1961 graduate of Fulton High School. He served 4 years in US Marine Corp Aviation and later worked at Ypsilanti Michigans Willow Run Airport and both places worked in Crash Fire and Rescue. Ronnie retired from Knoxville Fire Department with 34 years of service. Preceded in death by parents, Mary L. and William C. Towe; younger brother, Sanford A. Towe; and grandson, Corey Towe. Survivors, very special friend, Melissa D. Brown; children, son Neal Towe and wife Laura, Shawn Towe and wife Karen; grandchildren, Jessica Collins (Josh), Westley Keck, Cianna Towe; great grandchildren, Maddox Brown and Hazel Collins; special pet, Ebby the cat. Special thanks to Cindy of Covenant Hospice, Sacred Ground Hospice House, and Westley Keck. The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 pm Friday with the funeral service to follow at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Drive. Knoxville Fire Department Chaplain Paul Trumpore will officiate. Interment will follow in Lynnhurst Cemetery.
