Robert Allan Finney, age 65, crossed over to be with the Lord June 5, 2023. He never met a stranger. Allan was an amazing husband, father and grandfather. He was always there to lend a helping hand and worked so hard to take care of his family. Family always came first. Allan loved his race car, fishing and just being with his family. He loved to play jokes and get a laugh out of everyone. Allan Finney was a one of a kind man.
He is preceded in death by his father, James Finney; mother, Myrtle Finney; brothers: James H. and Kenny Finney; sister, Edith F. Finney, and daughter, Lori Laugherty.
He is survived by his wife Nessa Finney; son, Shawn Finney and wife Blue; sisters: Melinda Garibay, Katy Childress; grandchildren: Sierra Hedrick, Logan Laugherty and wife Tristan, Trent Daughtery and so many friends and family.
The family will receive friends Friday evening, June 9, 2023 between the hours of 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the parlors of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920. Family and friends will meet Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Stock Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, 8106 Martin Mill Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920 for a 2:00 PM Graveside Service.
