Bob graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1955, and served as an officer in the U.S. Army. Bob returned from the army and enjoyed a long, successful career with the University of Tennessee as Director of Administrative Data Systems. He retired in 1992. He was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed U.T. sports, loved golf, traveling, reading, following the stock market and spending family time with friends and loved ones. He also really enjoyed working puzzles. Bob was known and loved by so many people. He will be greatly missed and remembered for his generosity, kindness to others and his loving heart.
