Phyllis Davis

Phyllis was born in Chattanooga, TN, to William and Anna Mae Easterly. She graduated from Knoxville High School in 1950. Phyllis retired from the City/County offices of Knoxville after 25 years of service.

Phyllis was a faithful member of Woodlawn Christian Church of Knoxville. She loved to read and spend time with her sisters.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband, Heiskell Davis, by her brother, William Jack Easterly, Jr., her sisters, Joyce Ann Knight and Patsy L. Norris; and her nephew, David Lucke.

She is survived by her sister, Nancy E. Dunn, of Knoxville, TN; John (Laura) Dunn of Loudon, TN; Chris Dunn of Knoxville, TN; Charles G. (Cynthia) Knight of Rossville, GA; Richard W. Knight of San Diego, CA; Gary (Kerrie) Knight of San Diego, CA; Robby (Jackie) Lucke of Belleview, FL; George (Theresa) Lucke of Knoxville, TN; William J. Easterly III of Seattle, WA; Patrick Easterly of Seattle, WA and Jessica C. Easterly of Sacramento, CA. She is also survived by a host of great nieces and nephews and her beloved church family and friends.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. The family will be having a private celebration of life service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Woodlawn Christian Church, Woodlawn Pike, Knoxville, TN or to your favorite charity.
