Pamela Joy Hampton

Pamela Joy Hampton, age 67, went to be with her Savior on Wednesday, December 20, 2017. She was a Christian and attended Fellowship Church of Fountain City. She was a retired kindergarten teacher from Union County Schools. Pamela was a loving and supporting wife, mother, sister, and daughter and exuded warmth, care and love to everyone she met. Preceded in death by grandparents, Ernest and Lila Stroupe and Thomas and Gladys Speer; mother and father-in-law, Ralph and Mary Hampton. Survived by husband of 31 years, Stephen Hampton; daughter, Stefanie; son, Justin Judson; parents, Jay and Evelyn Stroupe; sister, Sharon Neufeld (Waldie); brother, Ron Stroupe (Penny), Kerry Stroupe (Laura), and John Stroupe (Linda); and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends from 4 – 6 pm Friday with the funeral service to follow in the chapel of Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Drive with Rev. Pam Neal, Rev. John Stroupe, and Dr. Waldie Neufeld officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am for the interment at 11 am Saturday at Lynnhurst Cemetery.
