Nikita Jean Murphy Bailey

Nikita Jean Murphy Bailey, age 63, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Friday, March 11, 2022 due to Covid, making her health condition worsen. Nikita was a caregiver and loved what she did best and that was taking care of her residents.

Nikita is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Barbara Murphy; grandparents, Jasper and Maude Sparks and her sister, Vickie Lynn Hice.

Nikita is survived by her siblings, Rhonda Gail Gredig (David), Sharon Kay Bumgardner Blackburn (Michael), Clyde Oscar Murphy, Jr. "Rocky" (Lynn); children, Tiffany Harness, Niki Lea Williams, Marvin Marquiel Williams Baker (Rachel) and many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family would like to thank all of the caregivers at Island Home, especially Tanisha and Kanesha.

John 16:22 - So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again and your hearts will rejoice and no one will take your joy from you.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Nikita on Friday, March 25, 2022 at 6pm at RIO Revolution Church, Maryville, with a 7pm service to follow.
