Michael "Mike" Ray Wilson, age 67, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Friday, April 28, 2023. He served our country in the 101st Airborne Division Air Assault. Mike enjoyed spending time in the mountains, going to drive-in movies, collecting comics and collectables. He loved his family and his dog, Jackson.
He was preceded in death by parents, Donald and Mildred Wilson; sister, Joyce Miller and grandparents: Hubert and Rose Hall.
Michael is survived by wife, Sylvia Wilson; daughters, Christy (Jeffery) Bailey, Nancy (Alonzo) Shoopman; son, Michael Wilson; grandchildren; brother, Ken ( Betty) Sargent; sisters: Francis "Susie" Rose, Donna Mullikin; nieces; nephews and special friend, Tony Myers.
A Celebration of Life service will be planned for a later date.
