Mary Alice Simpson

Simpson, Mary Alice - age77, stepped into the Heavenly Throne room of her Lord and Savior on Friday, December 12, 2014. Mary Alice attended Fulton High School. She worked for a period of time for UT Medical Center when she was a Physical Therapy Technician and the Administrative Assistant to Dr. Lash. Her life’s mission was to love and care for her children. She passed that same loving kindness on to her grandchildren. Never has there been a stronger love and devotion of a wife and mother. Preceded in death by parents, Floyd and Mae Witt. Survived by her husband of 58 years, Dexter Kent Simpson; son and daughter-in-law, Steven K. and Robin Simpson; daughter and son-in-law, Christy Jill and Paul Smith; daughter and son-in-law, Pamela Gayle and Jay McNelly; grandchildren, Stephanie Simpson, Kelsey Simpson, Ashley Smith, and Shelby Lynn McNelly; her beloved brother and sister-in-law, Clyde and Marilyn Witt; and many more nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be on Monday, December 15, 2014 at 7:00pm in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00pm prior to the service.
