McGinnis, Mary Ruth age 67 of Corryton passed away Thursday, November 3, 2011. She attended Clapp’s Chapel United Methodist Church. Mary is a retired Bookkeeper with Knox County School System. Preceded in death by her parents Gillis and Cleo Long. Survivors include her loving husband of 45 years Earl McGinnis, son Kevin McGinnis, daughter Amy (Scott) Anderson, grandson Jacob Anderson, sister Peggy Booker, brother Ralph Long and nephews Steve Long and Randy (Rhonda) Booker and niece Donna Long.
The family will receive friends Sunday, November 6, 2011 from 6-8pm in the Lynnhurst/Greenwood Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 8pm with Rev. David Smith officiating.
