Mark Rogers, age 57, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024 surrounded by family and close friends. He graduated from Doyle High School in 1985. He was a beloved employee at Berry Funeral Home and their affiliates in Knoxville. In his spare time, he enjoyed building, making home improvements and watching sports. Mark was a great father, Papaw, provider, and friend.
Mark was preceded in death by wife, Jamie Lynn King Rogers; mother, Linda Sue Beard Rogers. He is survived by sons, Joseph Mark (Tara) Rogers and Justin (Naomi) Rogers; grandchildren, Kale, Kai, Aiden and Sophia; father, Samuel Rogers; sister, Melissa Rogers; additional family and friends, Kelly Brantley, Gracie Hill and Bob Smith.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, November 26th from 5-7pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 7pm. Rev. Randy Carver officiating. A committal service will occur Wednesday, November 27th at 11am at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery, 5766 Sevierville Road, Seymour, TN 37865. Pallbearers will be his coworkers and friends, past and present.
