Margaret M Ellison

Margaret M Ellison, age 81, of Knoxville, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 17, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. She was a devout christian who loved the Lord and her family with her whole heart. Margaret saw the good in everyone. Her greatest achievement was being a Momma, Granny and Great-Granny. Margaret was a member of Son Light Baptist Church, where she dedicated her life to the Lord.

She is preceded in death by her father, Harry Meszaros; mother, Margaret Meszaros; husband, Thomas "Ed" Ellison and sisters: Dorothy, Loretta and Barbara.

Margaret is survived by daughters: Annette Weiss (Neil), Margie Ellison (Ty), Christy Ellison; sons: John Ellison, Thomas "Eddie" Ellison; grandchildren: Michael, Mark (Danielle) , Zachary, Noah, Haley, Darien, Nicholas, David, Malachi, Trinity, Brianna and Zachary; great-grandchildren: Brantley, Kingston and soon to be 2 more great-grandchildren; sisters: Catherine, Charlotte, Debbie; brother, Harry and a host of extended family.

The family will receive friends Thursday, December 21, 2023 between the hours of 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the chapel of Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300, West Adair Drive, Knoxville with a service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Eddie Myers officiating. Family and friends will meet Friday, December 22, 2023, 10:00 AM at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home and go in procession to Greenwood Cemetery, 3500 Tazewell Pike, Knoxville for an 11:00 AM Interment Service.
