She was preceded in death by her mother, Hazel Wallace Massa, her father, William Massa, Sr., and her brother, Bill Massa, Jr. She is survived by her children, Libby Laitinen (Carl), Cathy Johnston (Kevin), and George Dixon; her grandchildren, Matthew Laitinen (Jen), Andy Laitinen (Kaiti), Nate England (Heather), Erick Laitinen, and Morgan Johnston; 4 great grandchildren; and her dearest friend, Diana Lopez.
There will be a gathering of friends on Monday, September 10, 2018 from 11:30am to 12:30pm at Berry Highland Memorial, 5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville. An Entombment Service will follow at 1:00pm in the Mausoleum Chapel of Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery.
