Lois was such a special lady. I know you don't remember our Nanny Joyce as well as I do, but she reminded me a lot of her; both remarkable, strong women. Lois, as well as our Nanny, had more than her fair share of heartaches, but she always maintained a positive outlook with a wonderful sense of humor. She was very warmhearted and kind to everyone.
Danielle, the bond that the two of you had was so precious and endearing to everyone who knew the two of you. I am truly glad that with all she went through that she had you to be her little beacon of light. You hung the moon and that is just the way it was and always will be. She loved all of her family and wanted the best for all of you. I know you will miss her dearly, but you will always have a piece of her in your personality, memory and a place forever in your heart!

To be absent in the Body is to be present with the Lord. What a wonderful place your grandmother is in. May God Bless you and your family , through him you will find strenght & comfort.

Your grandmother was a fine lady and I count myself fortunate to have known her.  These past ten years have gone by so very fast and it serves to remind us that our time here on earth is very precious and short.  I have wonderful memories of Lois at birthdays, holidays and family gatherings.  I'll remember her smile and great sense of humor.  I want you to know that I love you like my own daughter and admire you more than you'll ever know.  I hope you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Your grandmother was such a beautiful woman.  She always welcomed me into her home with a smile.  She had such a big heart, and did so much for you and your family. Oh, this venue wouldn't hold the memories that I have of you, my dear Sister. You loved so unconditionally and never, ever judged. I was always so very proud of you and the life that you led. I have no doubts that God is pleased with you and that you have a very special place in that beautiful land so far away.  I'll see you one day and what a reunion that will be! You are resting in the arms of Jesus; I know that. I'll miss you, Sissy. I'll miss the times when you gave me courage to go on in my darkest times. I'll miss your beautiful smile and the way you "took care" of me. You were so special to this world, but God needed you to come home. It sounds so selfish of me to want and need you here. I should be rejoicing that you are in a much better place than I. You'll forever be right here in my heart and I'll never forget what you've done for me. I love you, Sis, so, so very much. Saying goodbye to a friend is never easy. Lois,however, left us with so many good memories that I can rejoice in having been a part of her life for the last 10 years.
