Kathryn Patsy Rhodes

Her greatest love and devotion was to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, her family and her loved ones. For decades she used one of her many talents to sing with various bluegrass and gospel groups and made many recordings. Her passion for music will be forever remembered and shared with her beloved husband, John Estle Rhodes, family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, John, her daughters, MeLissa and husband Dave Mason, Kim and husband Michael Berrier, Shaun and husband Brad Denton; nine grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren.

Kathryn and her husband were faithful members of Burnetts Creek Baptist Church.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Covenant Hospice medical staff for all of the special attention given to Kathryn over the past 8 months, especially Nurse Kelly for her compassionate comfort and care as well as Mrs. Rita.

A visitation for Kathryn will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Berry Highland South, 9010 E. Simpson Rd, TN 37920. With a funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM. A graveside service will occur Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Berry Highland South, 9010 E Simpson Rd, Knoxville, TN 37920.
