GOAD, JOHN DARYL- age 84 went to be with Jesus on September 7, 2011. Army Veteran and retired from Y-12 after 32 years of service. Preceded in death by parents Ray Goad and Florence Goad Roberts. Survived by wife of 44 years Billie Grigsby Goad; daughter Carol Goad Jordan (Donnie); grandson Jere Jordan (Ellie); granddaughter LeAnn Jordan Simpkins (Adam); great granddaughter Ella Kate Jordan, stepson David Edward Grigsby, Sr.; step grandchildren Holly Grigsby, David E. Grigsby, Jr., Adam Grigsby (Cara), Hannah Grigsby Mikels (Dustin); great grandchild Addie Mikels. Family will receive friends Thursday at Weaver Funeral Home from 6 pm to 8 pm with service to follow at 8 pm. Dr. Larry Bond officiating. Family and friends will meet at Highland Cemetery at 12:45 pm Friday for a 1 pm interment with Military Honors.
