James Eugene “Gene” Smith, age 88, passed away July 27, 2022. Gene was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was retired from Landmark International Trucks. He was a member of Henderson Chapel Baptist Church in Pigeon Forge.
Survivors include wife of 68 years, Barbara J. Smith; brother-in-law, Frank Shattuck; sister-in-law, Joyce Smith; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be at 3:00 p.m. Monday, August 1, 2022 at Lynnhurst Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at www.berrylynnhurst.com.
