He was a beloved family man and his sweet spirit and gentle manner will be greatly missed. He really enjoyed football. He played football for both Young and Doyle High schools. Mitch was a loyal Packers and UT Vols fan. He enjoyed the simple things of life. Fishing and bird watching were his favorite pastimes. He was a skilled woodworker. Mitch honorably served in the US Air Force. He was employed at Dealers Warehouse. His employers and fellow coworkers were dear to him. He loved his family, friends, work and best friend and furry companion Max.
Mitch is preceded in death by his loving wife Becky Miller; parents, James & Evelyn Miller; guardians, Luther & Dorothy Barbra; sisters, Janice Bhatia and Shirley Miller.
He is survived by son, Joshua Miller; daughter, Courtney Seals Curtis; grandchildren, Tifani Curtis and Trey Curtis; great grandchildren, Anastasia, Silas and Zyir Curtis; sisters, Pamela Miller, Gina Barbra, Nancy Morhlyn and Tracy (Douglas) Shelley; brother-in-law; Yusuf (Taheseen) Bhatia; nieces and nephews, Sarah, Eli (Jessica), Moriah (Anas), Alex (Neha), Jenab (Ryan), Deana (Donny), Carmela (Bryan), Bart (Angie), Tanya Nicely and beloved great nieces and nephews and many family members.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Mitch's life at 12:00pm noon on Saturday October 19, 2024 at Douglas Dam Overlook, located on 975 Douglas Overlook Way, Dandridge, TN 37725. Mitch enjoyed sharing conversation with friends and family over good food. We would like to honor him by sharing memories of our precious Mitch. This is one of his favorite places to visit loved ones and enjoy a picnic, please feel free to bring your favorite dish and share stories. The family would like to thank everyone who visited, prayed for Mitch and the family. A special thank you to the management and staff at Dealers Warehouse for their generous support.
