Ford, James E. –age 69 of South Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord on November 6, 2011. He was a retired painter and avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Ford and brother, Larry Ford. He is survived by loving wife, Elaine Ford; mother, Reva Ford; daughter, Linda and husband Scott Prater; son, Jamie Ford; grandchildren Tyler and Brandon Ramsey; Emily and Dylan Prater; step-daughters, Joy Fawver and Lisa King; sister-in-law, Pam Ford; niece, Heather Ford; nephew, Travis Ford and several other friends and relatives. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 8, 2011 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway with the funeral to follow at 7:00 pm. Rev. Dana Fachman officiating.
