JAMES “BRITTON” BUTLER, JR., 28, went to be with Jesus February 18, 2012. Britton courageously fought cancer for almost 6 years. He inspired all who knew him and loved life to the fullest. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Dr. Bill Butler, his grandmother, Joyce Tate and his cousin, Trey Campbell. He will be sorely missed by his parents, Jim and Cyndi Butler and Debbie Henderson and his brothers, Jerry and Jaxon Butler; his grandfather, Jerry (Tammy) Tate; grandmother, Josephine Butler; step-brothers, Beau (Kristy) and nephew, Parker, and Austin Henderson; step-sister, Chelsea Henderson and step-father, Mark Henderson. Britton is also survived by aunts and uncles, Sis (Tim) Cook, Doug Campbell, Tammy (Mike) Asbury, Kerry (Donald) Kennedy, Terry (Brad) Allen, Sharon (Don) Carmichael, Bill (Noni) Butler, Beth (David) Childress, Emily (Doug) Hays, Randy (Danny) Sutherland, Brian and Amanda Fox. Britton was adored by his cousins, Jennifer and Joshua Campbell, Madison and Allie Asbury, Kayla, Hagan, Kendal and Hunter Kennedy, Tate and Avery Allen, Tarah and Chelsey Childress, Will (Kristen) Butler, Carrie and Lindsey Sutherland, Katie (Andy) Friar, Kelli Hensley, Tori and Tyler Hays, McKenzie Fox and Cayden Huss; uncle Charles Stallings; special friend, David Miller; special pet, Camo and pet nephew, Lucce. The family will receive friends 3-7 pm Tuesday at Providence Church with the service to follow at 7 pm. The family will have a private burial.
